Illinois State Sen. Dan McConchie (R-Hawthorn Woods) expressed gratitude for the joyful atmosphere and enthusiastic turnout at his recent Kids Fair event, highlighting the community's positive response on social media.
“Lots of smiles and fun all around at my Kids Fair yesterday! Thank you to everyone who attended!” McConchie wrote in an Aug. 20 Facebook post.
The Lake Zurich Kids Fair, held on Aug. 19 at the Foglia YMCA in Lake Zurich, provided a fun-filled event for families and children with various activities and entertainment. Families and children gathered for the eagerly anticipated "My Kids Fair" event, which provided a day of fun for all. The event took place from morning until 12:30 PM, offering a range of engaging attractions.
From trucks of all sizes to a captivating reptile show, the event featured an array of activities designed to captivate the young and the young at heart. Attendees were treated to face painting, interactive exhibits, and more, ensuring a memorable day for everyone.
Ela Township Board member Tosi Ufodike took to Twitter with a photo of McConchie as well.
“Thank you Senator @DanMcConchie for hosting an amazing event for families in our community #Kidsfair was a huge success! Loved seeing all the beautiful families in attendance,” Ufodike wrote in an Aug. 19 Twitter post.
