Podcast host Joe Weiss said all members of the Lake Forest community, regardless of political party or association, "should be working with Mayor Tack, because he won.”
“Jan Schakowsky is part of that whole Bernie Sanders wing of the democratic party,” Weiss said to co-host Pete Jansons on the Lake Forest podcast. “I sat with Jan Schakowsky because there was something going on, a federal-local thing, and I sat with her. We were very polite to each other, actually joked around a little bit about her kids and her grandkids and stuff.”
“My point is when you're elected, people don't want you to keep your partisanship, they want you.” Weiss said. “It's your job to work with whoever wins right?”
