Podcast host Joe Weiss said Mayor Randy Tack’s “personality is fine” and “he’s nice.”
“I've come to know Randy, I've come to know many of the aldermen, come to know many of the people in the caucus. And as far as with Randy particularly, I think he's a great guy,” Weiss told his co-host Pete Jansons on the Lake Forest Podcast. “I mean I get along with him very well. That said, even if he was a total jerk, he's doing a great job as mayor.”
“People get all upset about personalities and stuff like that, I care about the job somebody does,” Weiss added. “Nice guys aren't always the best guys or nice people aren't always the best people to hire for a job.”
