Lake Forest Podcast hosts: Ald. Rummel should ‘stay out of the kitchen’ if she can’t stand the heat

Podcast host Joe Weiss said “the expression on Alderman Rummel's face, Melanie Rummel's face, the vitriol, the hatred, the redness in her face at that moment, it was as if you were like killing one of her children.”

“I wish everyone could have seen it,” Weiss told his co-host Pete Jansons on the Lake Forest Podcast. “You're going to hear the audio and the audio is a little uh muffled because of all the noise going on in the Gorton Center but my gosh, Pete.”

“I mean she was just, she's livid, okay, and I don't understand that,” Weiss added. “I've been an elected official too. I took a lot of crap in the 12 years that I was on the boards that I was on and I take crap for being on this show, that's part of this process, all right, that's fair. I mean if you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen."
