Village of Deerfield Plan Commission met Oct. 26.

The Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield called to order a Workshop Meeting at 5:30 P.M. on October 26, 2023 at Deerfield Village Hall.

Present were: Al Bromberg, Chair

Lisa Crist

Jennifer Goldstone

Bill Keefe

Sara Lubezny

Absent: Blake Schulman

Ken Stolman

Also present: Jeff Ryckaert, Principal Planner

Dan Nakahara, Planner II

Public Comment on a Non-Agenda Item

There were no comments from the public on a non-agenda item.

DOCUMENT APPROVAL

1. Report and Recommendation on the Portillo’s Restaurant Request for Approval of a New Menu Board Pursuant to Article 9.02-B,14(a) of the Deerfield Zoning Ordinance for Their Restaurant Located at 700 Lake Cook Road

Commissioner Crist moved, seconded by Commissioner Keefe to approve the document with one change. The motion passed with a unanimous voice vote.

2. October 12, 2023 Plan Commission Minutes

Commissioner Keefe moved, seconded by Commissioner Crist to approve the document with one change. The motion passed with a unanimous voice vote.

Mr. Ryckaert noted that the November 9th meeting will be a workshop meeting to discuss possible amendments to the zoning ordinance.

Designation of Representative for the next Board of Trustees Meeting

Chair Bromberg and Commissioner Goldstone will represent the Plan Commission at the November 6, 2023 Village Board meeting.

Adjournment

There being no further discussion, Commissioner Goldstone moved, seconded by Commissioner Lubezny to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed with a unanimous voice vote.
