The Village of Buffalo Grove Board has sanctioned a tax increment financing funding and redevelopment agreement for the Bison Crossing development. The site, located at 814-945 Dundee Road, was previously occupied by the Rohrman auto dealerships.

According to a post on the Village of Buffalo Grove's Facebook page, a Tesla sales and service center will be the main feature of the mixed-use development center. This center is also set to include new luxury residential units and retail spaces.

In another post by the Village of Buffalo Grove on Facebook, it was announced that demolition of the existing building on Dundee Road is scheduled to commence in February. The construction work will follow later this year.

The website of Buffalo Grove reveals that Shorewood Development Group and Double Eagle Development are tasked with redeveloping the 16-acre property.

According to further information from Buffalo Grove's website, all three existing buildings will be demolished to make way for Bison Crossing - a new mixed-use development. In its first phase, Shorewood will develop lot 1 into a 50,354-square-foot Tesla Sales, Service, and Delivery Center. Meanwhile, Double Eagle will construct a 224-unit multi-family residential building on lot 3.

Buffalo Grove's website also mentions that the second phase involves Shorewood developing lot 2 into a commercial use building spanning between 20,000-30,000 square feet at a later date.
