Podcast host Joe Weiss said that voters ask themselves the question of whether or not they are better off than they were four years ago when faced with the choice of voting for an incumbent or not.
“Whenever people are voting they're going to ask that question that Ronald Reagan asked in 1980,” Weiss told host Jansons on the Lake Forest podcast. “Are you better off than you were four years ago?”
“Trump won in 2016 because people said no,” Weiss said. “Trump lost in 2020 because people said no.”
