Buffalo Grove named among top 25 safest places to live in US

A recent ranking by U.S. News and World Report has placed Buffalo Grove among the top 25 safest places to live in the United States. The community was ranked 18th nationally and second in Illinois based on safety criteria that include crime reports and data from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).

Buffalo Grove Village President Eric Smith expressed pride in this recognition, stating, “I’m beyond proud for Buffalo Grove to be recognized as one of the safest communities in the nation. This ranking reflects the dedication and professionalism of our first responders, as well as the Village’s ongoing commitment to public safety and quality of life.” He added that their neighborhoods are known for being quiet, safe, and family-friendly.
