Memory Cafe provides connection for those with memory loss, caregivers

The Memory Cafe, a monthly event for individuals grappling with memory loss and their caregivers, has eight spots available for its upcoming gathering at the Alcott Center. The event necessitates prior registration.

According to a Facebook post by the Village of Buffalo Grove, the next Memory Cafe will take place from 2-3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22. Interested parties can register via https://bit.ly/3ODn1YL until 2 p.m. on the day of the event.

The Village of Buffalo Grove further informs that each cafe features an activity and time for socialization. This month's chosen activity is bingo. The program is complimentary and open to all members of the public.

The Memory Cafe receives sponsorship from several organizations including Belmont Village Senior Living Buffalo Grove, Buffalo Grove Community Foundation, Buffalo Grove Park District, Buffalo Grove Police Department, Indian Trails Public Library, Sunrise Senior Living Buffalo Grove, and Vernon Area Public Library as per another post by the Village of Buffalo Grove.
