PTRL #000986-2024 - The Lake County Board of Vacations has scheduled a public hearing on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Lake County Central Permit Facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville, Illinois, on the petition of Christopher J Cahill and Leon LaJeunesse, record owners of the properties adjacent to the right-of-way requested for vacation.

The portion of the right-of-way sought to be vacated is described as follows: That part of the 16 foot private alley. Described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of lot 5; thence south 89° 55’ 07” east (assumed). 199.90 feet to the southeast corner of lot 5; thence south 00·00’ 05” west, 16.000 feet to the northeast corner of lot 6; thence north 89° 55’ 07” west, 11.18 feet; to the centerline of said alley, thence north 89° 55’ 07” west, 36.23 feet to the west line of said alley: thence north 00° 00’ 06” east, 8.00 feet to the southwest corner of lot 5 and the point of beginning, all in Cartlidge and Allen’s Subdivision, being a part of the northwest quarter of section 12, Township 45 north, Range 9, east of the third principal meridian. According to the Plat thereof, recorded October 26, 1912 as document 143899, in Lake County, Illinois. The proposed area to be vacated is approximately 0.07 acres.

The properties adjacent to the unimproved section of Olive Street that is to be vacated are located at 35545 N Olive Street, Ingleside, Illinois (PIN 05-13-124-007), 35555 N Olive Street, Ingleside, Illinois (PIN 05-13-124-006), and 35557 N Olive Street, Ingleside, Illinois (PIN 05-13-124-005); and 35539 N Olive Street, Ingleside, Illinois (PIN 05-12-124-008).
