Energy bill aid available through LIHEAP until August 2025

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is currently open to income-qualified households seeking help with energy bills. The program provides support for natural gas, propane, electricity bills, and furnace assistance. Applications will be accepted until August 15, 2025, or until the allocated funds are depleted.

Interested individuals can begin the application process by visiting helpillinoisfamilies.com or by reaching out to their local township for further assistance.
