City of Highwood Committee of the Whole met Sept. 17

CALL TO ORDER by Mayor Pecaro at 6:03 P.M.

1. Roll Call

Present: Aldermen Levi, Slavin (6:05 P.M.), Falberg and Peterson

Absent: Aldermen Fiore and Hospodarsky

Also Present: City Manager Coren, Assistant Manager Facchini, City Attorney Jablecki and Administrative Assistant Litjens

3.2. Committee of the Whole: September 03, 2024

Minutes will be approved as presented at the regular City Council meeting.

5. Review of Bill Warrant List

5.1. 09/17/2024 AP Warrant List

The Warrant List will be approved at the regular City Council meeting.

6. Unfinished Business

7. New Business

7.1 A Presentation by Moraine Township on Community Mental Health Boards.

Moraine Township will present at the regular City Council meeting.

7.2 Consideration of a Resolution Approving an ARC Application for Wall and Door Signs for Aud Originals Located at 9 Highwood Avenue. This will be approved as presented at the regular City Council meeting.

7.3 Presentations by Harlem Irving Companies and Continuum Capital on their Submissions to the Request for Proposals for the Properties Surrounding 420-424 Sheridan Road.

Presentations included site plans and development summaries.

7.4 A Discussion on the Upcoming Tax Levy.

City Manager Coren shared an overview of the upcoming tax levy.

10. Adjournment moved by Alderman Slavin and seconded by Alderman Peterson to adjourn the meeting. All present voting aye, by voice vote, motion carried. Mayor Pecaro adjourned the meeting at 7:28 P.M.
