Skoo Walker, a founding and recurring co-host of the Lake Forest Podcast, said the caucus should reach out to those who have "served in the past" and shown interest in filling positions. Host Joe Weiss said his perspective is based on his "background in talking to people" and feedback from the caucus that Walker is wrong.
"They should send emails, but they should also be going into their database and calling people who have served in the past and indicated that they're interested in those spots," Walker told host Weiss on the Lake Forest podcast. "I'm wrong, and I have experience in doing it and interviewing. I can say, Joe, you're wrong because you're interpreting things wrong, but you have no background in how the caucus works or serving and all that. To project out and say, you know, who's wrong and all that, maybe I am wrong, but I do go off of what I have experienced.”
"I'm just telling you what they said; what I heard back was that you're wrong," said Weiss. "I have a background in talking to people, and people from the caucus who watched your interview last week say that you're wrong."
