Lake Forest Podcast host Pete Jansons said the USS Arizona illustrates how neglecting action worsens issues, referencing oil leaks as a reminder of those buried. He said cemeteries show "a lot of crosses" and "a few Stars of David," reflecting no discrimination in death.
"I've been to the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and that's a great example of when you don't do something ahead of time, it gets worse later on," Jansons told host Joe Weiss on the Lake Forest podcast. "We put it off, and that's why we had Pearl Harbor. Well, as you know, the oil is still dripping to the surface, and it's like the blood of all the people that have been buried there.”
“As you see the American cemetery, you see the German cemetery and the British," said Jansons. “ There are a lot of crosses over here, a few Stars of David. Dripping to the surface, but now, as you see the American cemetery, you see the German cemetery and the British, so there's a lot of crosses. There are a lot of crosses over here, a few Stars of David. Now and then you'll see the cross, and you'll see the David. There's no discrimination on who died.”
