In the request, we highlighted our role as media professionals involved in gathering and reporting news to the public. We also emphasized that access to these public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities, which include holding public institutions accountable. Given our role in disseminating information, we have requested a fee waiver as a media professional.
