The Village of Libertyville is hosting a public open-house event focused on promoting water quality through its Storm Sewer MS4 Program. The Open House will be held on Thursday, February 27 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the Village Hall Board Room, located at 118 W. Cook Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048.

During the event, Engineering Division staff will discuss the implementation of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Program. This program is based on requirements set by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and aims to control and reduce pollution from stormwater runoff discharged through the village’s storm drains.

The public meeting offers an opportunity for residents to learn more about the MS4 program and provide feedback or discover ways they can help reduce pollution in the stormwater system.
