Mundelein High School (MHS) Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students achieved numerous top-10 finishes in various categories during the 2025 Northern Area Conference held at the College of Lake County in Grayslake. The students will next compete at the State Competition in Springfield at the end of March.

The 2025 Northern Area Conference included participation from multiple schools and students across more than 70 events. MHS students either took objective tests or gave live/recorded presentations on a wide range of topics. Students scoring at the top in their events advance to the State Competition.

Top 10 finishers from MHS included:

First place:

- Alan Fisher, Nihal Joshy, and Anthony Vynnyk (Introduction to Social Media Strategy)

- Henry Molozaiy (Introduction to Business Concepts)

- Michael Sager (Journalism)

- Olivia Wallace (Business Communication)

Third place:

- Mikaila Brown (Introduction to FBLA)

- Santiago Burgos (Computer Problem Solving)

- Caleb Murphy, Advik Sharma, and Chance Winckler (Marketing)

- Morgan Pawlak (Human Resource Management)

- Marsha De Quina Tagala (Business Communication)

Fourth place:

- Owen Beake (Introduction to Financial Math)

- Tyler Burnette (Introduction to Business Communication)

- Bruce Dumblauskas (Introduction to Business Concepts)

- Aidan Hanrahan (Computer Problem Solving)

Sixth place:

- Kaidan Boongaling and Rishi Sahu (Website Design)

- Faisal Sanusi (Introduction to Business Concepts)

Seventh place:

- Shayla Agarwal (Business Law)

- Victoria Skora (Introduction to Business Concepts)

- Michael Townsend (Journalism)

- Renata Turska (Economics)

Eighth place:

- Trevor Madden( Financial Math)

Ninth Place :

Darren Azul , Ashton Salski(Broadcast Journalism), Victor Ortiz(Health Care Administration).

Tenth Place :

Joshua Adinku(Computer Problem Solving), Brindelyn Fetzer, Alejandra Martinez Sanchez , Addison Ross(Broadcast Journalism), Benjamin Hamberg , Jacob Hamberg(Sales Presentation), Marek Sikora(Introduction To Financial Math).

In addition to running the Mustang Nation Spirit Store, Mundelein High School students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions, leadership and service development, and educational programs.
