Rep. Weber Named Ranking Republican on Key House Committees

Representative Weber will lead debate for the House Republicans on bills coming before Committees on issues including business technology innovation and consumer protection in the new 104th General Assembly. Rep. Weber has been named Republican Spokesman on the House Small Business-Tech Innovation Committee as well as the House Consumer Protection Committee.
“In a way, these committees are two sides of the same very important coin: supporting growth and innovation in our business community while also keeping up with steps we need to take to protect shoppers and consumers,” Rep. Weber said.
Rep. Weber has also been tapped to serve as the Republican Spokesman on the House Appropriations-Health and Human Services Committee which weighs in on funding for health care and child support programs. In addition, he will serve as a member of the Labor and Commerce, Judicial-Civil, and Child Care Access & Early Childhood Committees.
