Community announces club meetings and sports tryouts for early March

Community updates for February 27, 2025, include various club meetings and events, as well as upcoming sports tryouts.

The lunch menu features chili served with grilled cheese sandwiches, pepperoni calzone, green beans, mixed green salad, baby whole carrots with dip, mixed berry fruit cup, and applesauce.

Club Meetings:

- UT FCA will meet on Tuesday, March 4th at 7:20 in the Girls Gym. Kinzie will deliver a lesson on John 3:16.

- The student council will not meet this Friday.

- The LGBT+ club is scheduled to meet after school on Wednesday, March 5th in Miss Williams' room (125E) to watch a "Hearstopper" episode and enjoy some candy.

- Gearheads Club invites car enthusiasts to join them in building a Ford Explorer Dragster. Meetings are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:15 PM in the Auto Mechanics shop.

Sports Tryouts:

- Baseball tryouts are set for March 3rd at 3:15 PM in Gym B. A physical examination report must be submitted beforehand.

- Girls Soccer Tryouts will take place on Monday and Tuesday, March 3rd and 4th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in Gym B.

- Softball tryouts are scheduled for Monday, March 3rd & Tuesday March 4th. Juniors & Seniors will try out from 3:15 PM -4:30 PM while Freshmen & Sophomores will try out from 4:30 PM -5:45 PM both sessions will be held in Gym A.

There is also an open workout session for softball today Thursday from6-8 pm in Gym A

- Boys tennis practice begins outside on the tennis courts at3 :30PM on Monday ,March third .
