Residents are advised to have their neatly stacked piles of brush placed by the street no later than 7 AM on Monday, April 7.
Cuba Township will conduct brush pick-up throughout its service areas, including unincorporated Cuba Township and the Villages of Barrington, North Barrington and Port Barrington (within Cuba Township), Lake Barrington, and Tower Lakes. Properties located on IDOT roads such as Routes 59, 22, and Lake Cook Road are excluded for safety reasons.
Brush Pick-Up Guidelines:
- The diameter of branches must be less than eight inches.
- The pile must be no wider than ten feet (looking at it from the street), four feet high, and five feet deep.
- No root balls, stumps, decorative grasses, leaves or yard waste will be accepted.
If a brush pile exceeds these guidelines, any remaining branches will not be picked up. There will be no further brush pick-up until fall this year.
