Lake Forest residents are reminded that, per City Ordinance, the purchase of a vehicle sticker for all vehicles registered to the city is mandatory.
The current 2024-2025 vehicle sticker featuring Gorton Center will expire on April 30, 2025. The new 2025-2026 sticker, showcasing the Forest Park Conservancy, must be purchased by April 30 and displayed by May 1 to avoid late fees and ordinance violations.
Residents can purchase the 2025-2026 vehicle sticker online or via the Lake Forest Now App. A valid vehicle sticker is also required for parking at Forest Park Beach and using the Compost & Recycling Center.
For those who have opted for email notifications but do not receive them, it is advised to check spam or junk folders.
Discounted vehicle stickers are available for residents enrolled in the State of Illinois Benefit Access Program, which assists individuals aged 65 and over or disabled persons meeting certain income requirements. Proof of enrollment is necessary to qualify for discounts. Additional information can be found at ilaging.illinois.gov/benefitsaccess.
This year’s vehicle sticker design highlights the Forest Park Conservancy, celebrating its 10th anniversary since renovation. More details about ongoing preservation efforts can be found at ForestPark1856.org.
