The Village of Hawthorn Woods has announced that it is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Excellence in Gardening Award. The award aims to celebrate residents who enhance their properties with vibrant gardens, trees, water features, sculptures, or other hardscapes that integrate with the natural environment, contributing to both sustainability and aesthetic charm.
Residents are encouraged to nominate gardens within the municipal limits of the Village of Hawthorn Woods. Photos can be included with submissions but are not required. There will be five opportunities to win for the 2025 season.
