School announces biliteracy program participation and upcoming event

On April 4, an announcement was made regarding various school programs and events.

The menu for the day included a spicy chicken breast served on a whole grain bun, a fish sandwich served on a whole grain bun, mixed green salad, baby whole carrots with dip, oven-baked French fries, and assorted fresh fruit.

In an invitation extended to bilingual students or those studying a language other than English: "Are you bilingual, studying a language other than English, or speak another language at home? If so, you're invited to participate in the State Seal of Biliteracy or State Commendation toward Biliteracy program. Get recognized for your proficiency in English and another language! Achieving the Seal of Biliteracy provides opportunities to enhance job prospects, scholarship opportunities, and potential college language credit. "

Registration QR codes can be found in the Commons area, outside the counseling office, and on digital media screens in hallways. Interested students are encouraged to contact Mr. Z in the counseling office for more information.

Student Council announced their annual Panther Pant event scheduled for Wednesday, April 23rd from 5:30-8 pm: "Happy 4th quarter Panthers! Student Council here to remind you all about our annual Panther Pant! This year it’s on Wednesday, April 23rd from 5:30 -8 pm. Sign-ups are available on QR codes on flyers by the water fountains. Talk to Student Council if you are interested in volunteering! Remember, the better this event goes, the better the school's events will be next year! See you there!"
