During the 2024-2025 school year, District 109 has been conducting a review of its math curriculum. Updates for the 2025-2026 academic year will be presented at curriculum nights in the fall. For those interested in continuing math practice over the summer, the Big Ideas Common Core 2019 Student Editions are available to the public.

Digital tools such as IXL for grades K-8 and ST Math for grades K-5 will remain accessible until June 30th. These resources can be accessed on any home device by visiting clever.com, selecting "Login as student," searching for the school, and logging in with a dps109 email address and animal password.

In terms of reading, maintaining literacy skills over the summer is encouraged through continued reading. For those interested in practicing ELA skills, digital tools like IXL for grades 2-8 will also be available until June 30th. Access follows the same procedure as for math tools.

Additionally, any digital tool used during the school year that requires a Google sign-on with a Dps109 email or a unique username/password created by teachers may continue to be used. This includes platforms such as WeVideo, CoSpaces Edu, and Worldbookonline.

It is important to note that access to Clever, Google/Google Classroom, Family Access, and other systems will be closed on July 17th afternoon to facilitate the summer digital system rollover. These systems will become operational again on August 4th at 3:30 pm when class placements are announced.
