The Lake Forest Police Department has announced the return of its Summer Positive Tickets initiative. This program, in collaboration with several local businesses, aims to acknowledge and reward positive behavior among young community members.

Participating businesses include Chief's Pub, Clucker's Charcoal Chicken, Donati's Pizza Inc., Gerhard's Elegant European Desserts, Poke Bros. Lake Bluff, Sweets of Lake Forest, and The Peanut Gallery. Young individuals observed by officers making safe and responsible choices—such as wearing a seat belt during a traffic stop or a helmet while biking—may receive a Positive Ticket. This ticket comes with a coupon for one of the participating local restaurants.

The program is supported by the Lake Forest Police Foundation and relies on contributions from local businesses. "We could not offer this program without the amazing help of our local businesses and the Lake Forest Police Foundation," said the department.

The initiative seeks to promote positive actions within the community and inspire others to follow suit.
