The annual Buffalo Grove Fourth of July Celebration is set to take place on Friday, July 4, at Willow Stream Park.
Key details for attendees include the Buffalo Grove Symphonic Band performance beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a fireworks display sponsored by Christopher B. Burke Engineering starting at 9 p.m.
The fireworks will be launched from the Buffalo Grove Golf Course and are best viewed from Willow Stream Park or the Village Campus. During the display, Old Checker Road will be closed approximately between 9 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Following the event, Old Checker Road will transition to one-way traffic to facilitate exiting onto Buffalo Grove Road.
Attendees are reminded that no sparklers or alcohol are permitted at Willow Stream Park.
Parking is available at several locations:
- Willow Stream Park
- Old Checker Road (south side only)
- Mike Rylko Community Park (between the Golf Dome and Spray n' Play), with access to Willow Stream Park via the Route 83 pedestrian overpass
