Maureen Wener, who passed away in June 2023, was a dedicated member of the District 109 Board of Education and served as Secretary. She also held the position of Treasurer for the West Deerfield Township Democratic Organization and was involved with the Deerfield Public Library Board, where she eventually became President. Required nomination details include: date of nomination, nominator's name and contact information, nominee's name and contact information, a description of their contributions to activism or public service, and if possible, outcomes of their efforts. Support letters from other individuals or organizations are encouraged.
