CALL TO ORDER
1. Roll Call by Mayor Pecaro at 7:31 PM
Present: Aldermen Bauer, Hanson, Fiore, Peterson, Markoutsas
Absent: Alderman Slavin
Also Present: City Manager Coren, Assistant City Manager Facchini, Administrative Assistant Hunt, and Attorney Jablecki.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
3. Review of Minutes to be Approved
3.1. Motion made by Alderman Fiore and seconded by Alderman Peterson to approve the minutes from the Committee of the Whole: June 17, 2025. All present voting aye, by voice vote. The motion carried.
3.2. Motion made by Alderman Peterson and seconded by Alderman Fiore to approve the minutes from the City Council: June 17, 2025. All present voting aye by voice vote. The motion carried.

5. Review of Bill Warrant List
5.1. Motion made by Alderman Fiore and seconded by Alderman Peterson toapprove the 07/1/2025 AP Warrant List. All present voting aye by roll call vote.
The motion carried.

ACTION ITEMS
11. New Business
11.1. Motion made by Alderman Markoutsas and seconded by Alderman Bauer to approve an ARC application for an awning at Pelago Café located at 325 Waukegan Avenue. All present voting aye by voice vote, the motion carried.
11.2. Motion made by Alderman Bauer and seconded by Alderman Markoutsas to approve an ARC application for a wall sign at the Make Craft Camp located at 828 Sheridan Road. All present voting aye by voice vote, the motion carried.
11.3. Motion made by Alderman Peterson and seconded by Alderman Fiore for an ordinance on salary and compensation for the City of Highwood for the FYE 2026 Budget year. All present voting aye by roll call vote, the motion carried.
11.4. Motion to waive competitive bidding and to authorize the City Manager to spend up to $70,000 for asphalt patching throughout the City. Motion made by Alderman Bauer and seconded by Alderman Fiore. All present voting aye by roll call vote, the motion carried.
11.5. Motion made by Alderman Fiore and seconded by Alderman Bauer to consider an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Highland Park for Western Avenue Street Improvements and authorizing the City Manager to spend up to $150,000 on related resurfacing. All present voting aye by roll call vote, the motion carried.
