Granite City Community Unit School District No. 9 will hold a school physical clinic in partnership with Chestnut Health Systems on Tuesday, August 12. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Granite City High School parking lot at 3101 Madison Ave.
The clinic is organized to help students meet school physical requirements. All incoming kindergarteners, sixth graders, and high school freshmen are required to have a school physical and updated shot records before starting classes.

The clinic is open to all preschool through twelfth-grade students in the district. There are limited time slots available, so families are encouraged to call or email for an appointment. Medicaid and private insurance will be accepted, but uninsured patients are also welcome. A sliding fee scale is available for those who need it.
Families attending the clinic should bring a parent or guardian ID, immunization record, and insurance card if they have one.
