A recent community survey in Buffalo Grove found that residents remain largely satisfied with life in the village. The survey, conducted earlier this year and repeated every four years, collected feedback from randomly selected residents on topics such as safety, parks, public services, and transportation. This process is used to assess resident satisfaction and compare Buffalo Grove’s performance to other communities nationwide.

Survey results show notable improvements since 2021. The percentage of residents who view the overall direction of the village positively increased from 60% to 76%. There was also a rise in those who feel welcomed to participate in local government, up from 48% to 70%. Confidence in village government grew from 58% to 70%, while positive views on economic health rose from 68% to 81%.

When compared with national benchmarks, Buffalo Grove received higher ratings in several areas. Of the categories measured, 41% (50 out of 122) were rated above national averages, while the remaining ratings were similar. No category fell below national benchmarks.

"Thank you to everyone who took the time to make your voice heard! Your feedback is important to helping us shape the future of Buffalo Grove. You can view the full survey results here."

The findings suggest that Buffalo Grove continues to perform well in key areas valued by its residents.
