Westminster Public Schools (WPS) has opened applications for the 2025–2026 District Accountability Advisory Council (DAAC). The council seeks parents, guardians, and community members interested in education to represent their schools.

The DAAC works with district leaders to discuss issues, provide policy recommendations, and share updates with school communities. Members also learn about WPS’s mission and strategic priorities.

“Serving on the DAAC is an opportunity to make a real difference,” said Ryan McCoy, Chief of Advancement and Strategic Partnerships. “It’s a chance to contribute your voice, help shape policy, and ensure that every school in the district is represented.”

Applications are open until August 24, 2025. The first meeting will be held on September 2, 2025. Each school is encouraged to have representation from both parents and community members.

Those interested can apply online using the DAAC Application. For more information contact Ryan McCoy at rmccoy@wps.org.
