Barrington’s Public Works, Police, and Fire Departments are working to clear roads after a storm caused trees and debris to fall across the area on August 16. Emergency crews are focusing on removing hazards from roadways to ensure public safety.

Residents who see dangerous situations, such as downed trees or power lines blocking streets, are urged to call 911 right away. The departments have stated that cleaning up these emergency hazards is their main concern at this time.

For non-emergency issues related to storm debris, the Village will organize a special brush pickup. More information about this service will be shared through official communication channels in the coming week.

Officials thanked residents for their patience and cooperation during the cleanup process. "Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep the community safe," according to village officials.
