Grayslake Central High School began the 2025–26 school year on August 13, welcoming students back to campus. The first day included students reconnecting with friends, meeting new classmates, and participating in activities aimed at building community.
The gymnasium served as a central gathering place where students played games and engaged in conversations. This event was intended to foster a sense of belonging among students.
Principal Dan Landry commented on the positive atmosphere of the opening day. “We couldn’t have asked for a better start,” Landry said. “Our students brought incredible energy, and our staff was ready to inspire. We’re excited for a year filled with growth, connection, and Ram pride.”
