City of North Chicago Public Works Committee met July 21

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Alderman Evans called the meeting to order.

ROLL CALL:

Present: Jackson, Coleman, Evans, Allen, Wray, Murphy, Brooks

Absent: None

I. DISCUSSION OF BI-MONTHLY REVIEW OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY AMM ENTERPRISES, INC. FOR THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT:

Chief of Staff Jackson explained it was a bi-monthly report for a review of services provided by AMM Enterprises Inc. (Bob Miller) for the Water Treatment Plant. Mr.

Alderman Evans encouraged Council to tour the Water Treatment Plant. He acknowledged Bob Miller and Robert Freeman.

Alderman Coleman asked if operators could be addressed when on the tour; Alderman Evans suggested he speak to the supervisor. Alderman Coleman asked if the supervisor could provide answers to specific water questions. He asked if Bob Miller was certified in water, or if AMM provided water operators;

Mr. Miller said he was not.

Alderman Allen moved, seconded by Alderman Wray that the Public Works Committee Meeting stand adjourned.
