United Township High School District 30 has announced several updates for students and staff as the new school year begins.
For lunch, students can expect options such as baked Italian rotini with whole grain garlic bread, chicken tenders with whole grain garlic bread, green beans, baby whole carrots, mixed green salad, and assorted fresh fruit.
Students interested in attending a musical event at the Adler Theatre in Davenport, Iowa on November 8 at 7:30 p.m. are encouraged to see Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor. Student tickets for this event are free.
The East Moline Public Library will soon offer limited UT Panther edition library cards during September’s Library Card Sign Up Month. These special cards will be available to East Moline Library cardholders who stop by or apply online starting September 1. Questions can be directed to the library by email or phone at 309-755-9614.
Girls interested in playing basketball this year are invited to a pre-season meeting on Thursday, August 28 at 3:15 p.m. in Gym A. Coach Pavelonis will discuss open gyms and other important information about the upcoming season.
A Student Council meeting is scheduled for Friday morning at 7:30 in room 109S to discuss homecoming plans.
