SRACLC is seeking afterschool inclusion aides to support individuals with special needs in community recreation programs. The organization works with its member agencies, participants, and families to provide a safe and supportive environment for all involved.

According to SRACLC, inclusion aides play an important role in helping participants with disabilities achieve their program goals. Their responsibilities include adapting activities, clarifying instructions, offering demonstrations, managing behavior, ensuring safety, and making other necessary accommodations.

"Inclusion allows individuals with special needs to participate in community recreation programs. SRACLC and its Member Agencies collaborate with participants and families to ensure a safe, supportive environment. Inclusion aides promote independence and help participants with disabilities reach program goals by providing adapted activities, clarifying instructions, offering demonstrations, managing behavior, ensuring safety,

and providing other necessary accommodations."
