District 109 is organizing a series of information sessions this fall to discuss a potential funding measure aimed at addressing critical facility needs. The initiative, called "Redefine 109," seeks to inform and gather feedback from the community about the proposed plan.

The sessions will take place at various locations, starting with an info session at Walden's gym on September 17 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Additional sessions are scheduled for September 25 at Kipling's multipurpose room, October 7 as part of the Patty Turner Center Member Lecture Series, October 8 in South Park's library, and October 11 at the Deerfield Farmers Market. There will also be a Saturday session on October 18 at Wilmot's gym and another event on October 24 during a Chamber of Commerce/Realtor lunch at Walden Gym. The final session is set for October 29 back at Walden's gym.

"District 109 is reaching out to the community throughout the fall to share information and gather feedback about a possible funding measure to address critical facility needs," said District officials. "Our goal is to ensure every member of the community has an opportunity to learn about the proposed plan."

Deerfield Public Schools District 109 encourages residents to attend these sessions to better understand the funding measure and its implications for local schools.
