The Highland Park Fire Department is inviting community members to a feedback session on Tuesday, October 7 at 6:30 PM. The event will take place at The Moraine, located at the Highland Park Senior Center, 1201 Park Ave. W.

This one-hour workshop is part of the department’s ongoing strategic planning process. Community members are encouraged to share their expectations and observations about fire and emergency medical services. According to the department, input from participants will help guide the future direction of its services.

"We will be holding a one-hour workshop to solicit feedback on your expectations and observations about the Department’s services. The results from this workshop will assist in the development of our strategic plan, guiding the future of the Department. Please RSVP at this link if you are interested in participating: airtable.com/applmPAJpqDpiUkab/pagRI1cwmT18MyIWO/form"

Attendees are asked to RSVP using an online form provided by the department. Confirmation of attendance and additional information will be sent before the event date.

For those unable to attend in person, there is an option to complete a community survey online at www.cityhpil.com/firesurvey.

"Your input truly makes a difference!"

The session will also offer Spanish-language participation. "Tendremos un taller de una hora para escuchar sus comentarios sobre sus expectativas y observaciones sobre los servicios del Departamento de Bomberos. El resultado de este taller nos ayudará a desarrollar un plan estratégico basado en las prioridades y necesidades de la comunidad para guiar el Departamento en los próximos años."

Those interested in participating can fill out the same online form for confirmation and further details as the event approaches.
