6.1 25-1330 PTRL #001101-2025: The Lake County Board of Vacations has scheduled a public hearing on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Lake County Division of Transportation, 600 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville, Illinois, on the petition of Thomas F. Naples and Deanna J. Naples, record owners of the property adjacent to the right-of-way requested for vacation.

The portion of the right-of-way sought to be vacated is described as follows: That part of Cherry Lane lying south of and adjacent to the part of lot 9 in block 12 in Arthur T. McIntosh and Company’s Brigg’s Lake Subdivision of part of the northeast quarter of section 17, township 43 north, range 10, east of the third principal meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded June 6, 1936 as document 425346 in Book “X” of Plats, Pages 22 and 23, described as follows:

Beginning at the southeast corner of said lot 9 and running thence west along the south line of said lot, 289.40 feet; thence north and parallel to the west line of said lot 33.00 feet; to the south line of said Cherry Lane also being the south line of Arthur T. McIntosh and Company’s Brigg’s Lake Subdivision; thence east along said south line 284.50 feet to the intersection with the southerly extension of easterly line of said lot 9; thence northerly along said extended southerly line, 33.33 feet to the point of beginning, in Lake County Illinois.

The property adjacent to the unimproved section of Cherry Lane that is to be vacated is located at 23512 N Cedar Lane, Lake Zurich, Illinois (PIN 1417209015).
