One World 2025 - A Cultural Journey
Experience One World 2025 – A Cultural Journey on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Gorton Community Center, 400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Hosted by the International Student Association (ISA) at Lake Forest College, this annual fundraiser celebrates the beauty of global diversity through food, music, art, and live performances representing cultures from around the world. Attendees will enjoy an immersive evening highlighting traditions, talents, and stories shared by students and community members. The event aims to promote understanding, appreciation, and support for the many cultures represented on campus while strengthening the sense of global connection. Join Lake Forest College for an inspiring celebration of unity and international friendship.

The Lasker Estate Walking Tour
Join the Lasker Estate Walking Tour on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 10:30 a.m., located at 1036 Estate Lane, Lake Forest. Led by historian Jim Phelps, this two-hour guided tour explores the fascinating history of Albert Lasker, the father of modern advertising, and his legendary Mill Road Farm—once described as “a completely self-contained utopia” frequented by presidents and movie stars. Participants will learn about the 13 farm buildings designed by renowned architect David Adler, now transformed into private residences across 480 scenic acres. Tickets are $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Please arrive ten minutes early and note that no restroom facilities are available.
