Bluewater Construction LLC has been hired by the Village to carry out sanitary sewer spot repairs in several locations. The work is scheduled to begin on November 3, 2025, and is expected to finish during the week of November 25, 2025.
The repairs will take place at various sites throughout the Village. On November 3, crews will address Spot Repair #2 on Osage Street near Slocum Lake Road. On November 4, work will move behind the Ace Hardware parking lot for Spot Repair #4. Two locations are set for November 5: Ridge Avenue near Pleasant View (Spot Repair #3) and Lincoln Avenue near Grant Place (Spot Repair #5). Repairs on Saddlewood Drive (Spot Repair #6) and Lipizzan Lane (Spot Repair #7) are planned for November 6.
On November 7, workers will complete any remaining tasks and may begin restoration efforts. Restoration work is scheduled from November 10 through November 14, with a final completion date set for November 25.
A statement from the Village reads: "Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this project! Sanitary sewer spot repairs are necessary in preventing failures within the service line that could potentially lead to increased costs."
These maintenance activities aim to prevent failures in service lines that might result in higher expenses if left unaddressed.
