On November 15, schools across Illinois observed School Board Members Day. Zion Elementary School District 6 (ZESD 6) recognized its Board of Education for their ongoing commitment and leadership in the school community.

Zion Elementary School District 6 serves Lake County and includes Beulah Park Elementary School, East Elementary School, Elmwood Elementary School, Lakeview School, Shiloh Park Elementary School, West Elementary School, and Zion Central Middle School.
