The Village of Round Lake Beach Council held its regular meeting Nov. 9.
After approving previous meeting minutes and more than $2.1 million in expenses, the trustees authorized a $126,250 contract with Patnick Construction Inc.
The board also gave Mayor Richard Hill the power to broker an agreement with Kane, McKenna Capital Inc., a Chicago firm that offers economic development services to local governments, but did not specify the particular services the mayor would be seeking.
The board spent about 50 minutes in a closed executive session before adjourning.
