The Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals convened Monday at the Waukegan Public Library to address a conditional use permit for a car dealership.
Following call to order, roll call and the Pledge of Allegiance, any items that needed to be addressed in the agenda were considered.
Abbas Anthony Elaty, whose property is situated at 35781 N. Green Bay Road in Waukegan, has requested a No. 7630 application for the right to allow consumer vehicle sales outdoors. His lot is approximately 0.51 acres. The application notes that survey values may be slightly different due to alterations.
Elaty’s request was accompanied by documentation, which was available at the meeting. Materials include a staff report, an outdoor vehicle application and information about signage elevation.
