Property tax, public works, presentations and participation topped the agenda for the Village of Round Lake Beach's board meeting 7:00 p.m. Monday.

Opening with call to order, roll call, Pledge of Allegiance and approval of the agenda, the board approved meeting minutes from Jan. 11.

No expenditures or ratifications were presented for approval; the board subsequently heard reports from committees, the mayor and the village clerk.

Standing committee reports included presentations from Finance, Public Works, Public Safety and Economic Development.

In new business, five resolutions and ordinances were discussed. Among the resolutions were service agreements for professional and engineering services with three vendors, one change order for an installation and repair and one agreement for computer support services.

Ordinances included property tax abatement, an agreement with AFLAC, adoption of the Lake County Watershed Development Ordinance, amendment of Village Code to establish a conservation area overlay district and variations for a lot in the Mallard Creek Shopping Center.

Time was allotted for public participation, followed directly by an Executive Session, action on Executive Session items and adjournment.
