Addressing dining and liquor licenses for a pair of local establishments and tending to conventional infrastructure projects for the Village’s general upkeep, Deerfield’s Board of Trustees will meet 7:30 p.m. March 21 at Village Hall.
The two ordinances relate to a Class B special use permit for the new ROTI Mediterranean restaurant at 720 Waukegan Road, Unit C, in the Shops at Deerfield Square; and the creation of a Class N liquor license—a new classification—for Venue One LLC, a 25,000-square-foot meeting and event center’s “North Shore” location, at Deerfield’s Berto Center.
The board will seek approximately half a dozen endorsements for awarding, continuing and completing various contracts for the village. Among infrastructure projects on the agenda are a proposal to award one contract for the Wilmot Road lift station improvements and a second contract for Deerfield’s 2016 sewer lining and cleaning program.
The board will also review a bid currently on the table concerning a splitter box repair project; authorize the completion of a current bio-solids removal contract; and approve new camera and trailer equipment for the sewer system.
Finally, a resolution for the Village of Deerfield’s 2016 street rehabilitation project will get off the ground in a round of discussion.
Deerfield’s Board meets at 850 Waukegan Road. Meetings are open to the public and located in the Second Floor Robert D. Franz Council Chambers.
