Sam Perlin, center, signs with the University of Wisconsin-Stout
Vernon Hills High School senior Sam Perlin recently signed a letter of intent to play baseball at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Perlin is a right-handed pitcher with an 82-mph fastball and a 72-mph change. He was a starter on the varsity team in the 2015 season and finished with a record of 7-1. Perlin also plays third base.
Perlin plans to study business while at school.
