Highland Park High School’s advisory group gathered at 7 p.m. March 16 at School District 113’s offices at 1040 Park Ave. West to consider traffic patterns and safety.
Advisory members took questions from the public early in the meeting to solicit any new matters of concern, questions or ideas and then discussed potential bus and parking solutions for the 2016-2017 school year. Also on the table were conversations about the Vine Lot and Woodpath Crosswalk.
After the Police Department presented an update, the group focused on traffic patterns, parking and safety.
Pursuant to a previous advisory group recommendation made in September 2015, the group agreed on approving a re-measurement of a pending traffic presentation.
Items of new business were solicited and addressed prior to adjournment.
