Vernon Hills announces Fourth of July celebration schedule

The Village of Vernon Hills will celebrate the Independence Day holiday on Friday, July 4, with a series of events:

- 8:30 a.m. – Deerpath/Parade Route closes

- 9 a.m. – Parade steps off from Countryside Fire

- 7 p.m. – DJ Dance Party at Century Park

- Dusk – Fireworks show at Century Park

Participation in the parade is free, but participants must complete an online registration form prior to the event and receive acknowledgment and instructions to participate. The online form can be found at the top of the July 4th webpage.

While village staff and volunteers will work to ensure that the festivities are safe and enjoyable for all, village offices will be closed on Friday, July 4.
