The Round Lake Beach Village Board will examine reports, evaluate ordinances and recognize local entities for their support of the area’s child-abuse prevention program during its next meeting at 7 p.m. today at Village Hall,
1937 North Municipal Way.
Mayor Richard Hill will issue a proclamation declaring the April Child Abuse Prevention Month in Round Lake Beach, extending congratulations to various Round Lake and Lake County area organizations for their contributions toward preventing child abuse.
Hill also will proclaim April 10-16 National Telecommunicators Week.
Multiple ordinances are on the agenda for consideration, from municipal budget and bond activity, lifeguard services, community block grants and property taxes to theater personnel and programming, zoning map amendments and private free libraries.
The theater items pertain to the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center’s collaboration with Improv Playhouse Theatre Inc.
